When i entered to the classroom, all the students were talking and others looking at me. I knew that i was a strange person for them and that I had to make them feel comfortable. I really liked the enviroment because they participate a lot. Moreover, I could notice in a couple of minutes that they have the willingness of learning. Therefore, Their willingness helped me a lot. Regarding the sitting arrangement, I found the horse shoe style. I think that teachers of English access use that style since the classsroom is very small. the materials that i used were worksheets, markers, eraser and the board. They helped me to develop my class and to explain them writting some examples.

I was teaching past perfect, and i was afraid of making basic mistakes. Moreover, I thought that students had to know how to structure grammar sentences since it was the first time they were going to study the topic, and that was fine, but i was not sure about what activities to develop since in the lesson plan there were just grammar explanation, but i realized that they do not need a deep explanation of it because they like to speak.
Students were paying attention to me, and that was fine. However, I had to prepare more speaking activities. This kind of topics need more preparation. Students are able to speak in English, and now, i have to consider to make them practice and to be more motivated in order to transmit my energy. Moreover, eye contact is essencial in a classroom.
It is important to be motivated because if students see my energy they will feel confortable to speak more. Furthermore, speaking activities make students to put in practice the vocabulary they already know.
I had difficulties because I was not motivated. I thought that they were not understand me even they got the class faster, but I had to apply more speaking activities.

Based on what I already know about past perfect, I think this is a complicated topic because I thought they needed grammar. However, It doesn't mean that they couldn't develope speaking activities. Teachers have to be well-prepare with the activities.
Based on what I observed, I think students
generally were really interesting in the new topic. They were asking a lot, and I could notice they really wanted to learn.
I believe that if a teacher just focus on written activities, this can hinder students learning because they are interested in speaking than writting. Moreover, motivation is a great key for having a nice enviroment in the class. If i am motivated, students will feel motivated too.

So, in the future, I will apply more speaking activities. Also, I am going to be motivated in order to transmit them my energy. I will give a simple grammar explanation and I will give them understandable instructions.
In future lessons I will encourage the students to speak with some activities, and I am going to be more relax. I took the lesson serious for being the first time.
The next time I teach this lesson, I will prepare dynamic activities. I changed some activities the same day because I thought students could not develop them, but they are smart enough to develope any activity.
In future experiences I will also include printed exercises when I explain something important. I had problems with the time because i wasted time writting on the board.
